I went to Cherie for some dermabrasion to firm up my skin. Plus I had a little bit of IPL where you get the under layers to start working again… a little bit of elasticity.
I found that the microdermabrasion took away all the hardness on the outside of my skin and made it a lot easier for the creams I was using to actually take effect. That was the main thing. It also smoothed out my skin and gave it a lot better texture. And it reduced the blotchy bits.
I had some treatments with another therapist before but I didn't see a difference until I worked with Cherie. I've had about 3 or 4 sessions but I probably didn't start seeing a difference until around about session 3. The first and second treatments didn't give huge results but it was cumulative. I have one more session to go on microdermabrasion, plus we've done a couple of IPL treatments, which I'll be continuing. I believe it's the combination of the two that made a difference.
Other people notice that my skin looks more clear, that it has a better tone, and doesn't look as tired or drawn out. When the girls get together and complain about their skin, I just tell them to go and see Cherie and she'll sort it out. I always believe things work better in combination and Cherie works that way. She also uses creams or vitamins after the session that help as well.
Her integration of knowledge gives you the best results. And it's just not knowledge about one thing. It's an integration of lots of knowledge about different treatments and products.
