When I started with Cherie I was having the light treatment (IPL) on my rosacea, which wasn't the best thing for me. So we dropped that pretty fast and started using the microdermabrasion. She was working very intuitively with me because I was in a very stressful state at the time and the rosacea was blowing up because of the stress.
And that was probably her greatest asset, that she was capable of moving where I needed to move at the time. Whatever needed to be done each time I went to see her, she was capable of adapting to that with the treatment.
Cherie tried the dermabrasion with the crystals, which was much too harsh on my skin so we didn't do that again. We used the suction instead. The way she worked with me was the best thing that could have happened. She did what I needed at the time and it worked really well.
Her knowledge was what really did the trick. My skin was very dull and very dry and ageing pretty rapidly. It was dehydrated as well because of the rosacea, and she worked with that. So she was plumped up the skin and getting the moisture back and giving me a lighter, more lively, more vital look.
She was working with an interior situation that was really coming out through the skin, which I guess is everybody's situation, but she knew how to work with that to get the best results. I was really quite heated and aggressive and that was coming out in this rosacea. The more I settled, the better it was.
Probably my greatest testimony is the fact that she intuitively worked with me on the day with the best treatment. She herself is her greatest asset, not her machines. She worked deeper than my skin. She's a good girl. She knew that this just wasn't all about surface stuff, and she worked with that. She is a gem, she is a treasure. I think she'd be a great friend as well as a great therapist.
